On the quay in Dundalk lies the Brian Boru, a traditional two-master with yellow masts and an Irish flag. The ship, named after the legendary High King of Ireland, is used for sailing training and heritage projects along the east coast. With the bascule bridge and the Ferris wheel in the background, it forms a characteristic maritime image of the city.
