Vermillion Park sits on the banks of the Vermillion River and serves as a year-round recreation destination. There are 3 kilometres of flat dirt trail open to walking, biking, and jogging. The trail has lighting, which makes it possible for night hikes and cross-country skiing in winter when it's darker longer. The southern end of the park offers amenities like a campground, day-use picnic area, benches, a playground, and a wading pool.
