The Chinese Garden was created after a city partnership between Beijing and Berlin was signed in 1994. It is called the "Garden of the Recovered Moon". In about 100 shipping containers, precious woods, stones, rocks, sculptures, and furniture were brought from Beijing to Berlin. Its center is formed by a 4,500 square meter lake. The outstanding structure is the teahouse, called "Teahouse for Osmanthus Juice", which is connected to other typical Chinese buildings via shore paths and a zigzag bridge.
