The Oymapınar Dam (Green Canyon) near Manavgat is an impressive 185-meter-high arch dam in the Taurus Mountains, approx. 25 km north of Manavgat. It is used for power generation, was built between 1977 and 1984, and forms an emerald-green lake known as a popular destination for boat trips and nature experiences. Approximately 80 km east of Antalya and 17-25 km inland from the coast.
