Directly behind the bridge, coming from Sandbostel, there is access to the Oste, for example for canoeing. Also suitable for anglers, for a little refreshment during a longer bike tour or for a breather. There is also an information board here.

The Ostebrücke near Sandbostel connects the Bremervörde Geest with the Huvenhoops and Teufelsmoor.
I used the bridge for my tour Sandbostel - Sandbostel Lager and on the Oste back to Rockstedt.
