It has been 40 years since the Winter Olympics were held in Sarajevo, the largest sporting event ever organized in this part of Europe.
In 1984, Vlašić was officially a reserve acclimatization sports center, and the ski jump was maintained in the best possible condition. Sarajevo had guaranteed the maximum distance of the competition venue from the city center in its offer, and Vlašić, unfortunately, was outside those limits.
After the Olympics, some vehicles and equipment arrived on this mountain, a “Jumbo” trail preparation machine, and two Mitsubishi all-wheel drive vehicles (Space Wagon and L300).
