Holy Cross Church, a Neoclassical plastered building, architect: presumably Friedrich Samuel Schwarze (building inspector in the "Bavarian Rhine District"), 1820, chancel and sacristy added in 1862.
War memorial 1914/18, relief tondo, 1920s; to the right of the main entrance of the Catholic Church of the Holy Cross are three panels and a relief made of yellow sandstone. The relief depicts a mounted soldier with a lance fighting a dragon.
Stone crucifix at the church, 19th century.
At the chancel: Neoclassical tombstones, dated 1803 and 1813.

Running
Hayna has had an independent parish since 1785. A new church was built in 1722 to replace the medieval one, which was then demolished in 1820 to make way for the present church, Holy Cross (Church of the Finding of the True Cross). The altar, sculpted by Leopold Hafner of Passau, depicts a Tree of Life.
