About the story: This is where the famous robber Holzlips lived with his gang. He planned some raids from here. The attack on a stagecoach was crucial in order to initiate a cross-border search in Hesse and Baden to catch the gang of robbers. On December 31, 1812, the famous robber was executed by the sword with three other cronies on the market square in Heidelberg.
