The new lake in the Parco Nord is located near the Cascina Centro Parco and is a project financed with European funds, from the Metropolitan City and from the Municipality of Cinisello Balsamo: it has a surface area of approximately 6,400 m2 and is fed by the canal system that already passes through the park.

Parco Nord Milano hosts several bodies of water, including the Lago Nord di Cinisello Balsamo, an artificial basin recently inaugurated (June 2025) located north of Cascina Centro Parco. This new pond has been designed to promote local biodiversity with floating islands for bird nesting.
