This Alpine Lake sits at the base of the summit of Montana Mountain. Up here, when the clouds have lifted, views stretch over the Coastal Mountains and out to Tagish Lake. Keep a lookout for marmots, ptarmigan, and even mountain goats, and in late summer, alpine meadows are colorful with fireweed, lupine, and mountain avens.
