When Count Ervín Silva Tarouca was ennobling his family chateau in Čechá pod Kosířem in the 1840s, he also had the park renovated in the then popular style - romanticism. The neo-Gothic octagonal lookout tower, 15 meters high, also fits into its spirit. The lookout tower is accessible as part of a guided tour of the park.
