A very special monument is the approximately 700 years old brewery in Himmelpforter Cistercian monastery. After a fire destroyed the ruin in 2010, since 2016 a community foundation has been taking care of the reconstruction of the historic building, which is so unique in Brandenburg. During the first securing work, gable paintings and planks were discovered, both finds date from the Middle Ages. The brewery recently received a new roof
