Road cycling
The king mountain of Vancouver’s Northshore. A quiet road climb with a distance of 12km and an elevation gain of 920m makes this the longest and hardest local mountain to climb on a road bike. Some gradients over 10% but the average is 7.6% for the ascent through a forested area with views of Vancouver and the sound at the summit (1045m).

Road cycling
Mt Seymour is the highest road cycling climb in Metro Vancouver. The gradient is more or less constant for the first 6 km, so settle into a sustainable pace and stick to it! The road goes through a forest, so views are limited. Also, don't expect any services at the top of the mountain during the off-season for skiing.
