Chiesa di San Sebastiano
Small 15th-century church in the heart of Panicale, it houses one of the masterpieces of the Umbrian Renaissance: the Martyrdom of Saint Sebastian, frescoed in 1505 by Pietro Vannucci, known as Perugino.
A curiosity that makes this stop even more evocative: the landscape painted behind the Saint recalls the real territory, with the lake and the gentle Umbrian hills. A small detail that allows you to look at the panorama of Panicale with different eyes.
Inside, a Madonna enthroned with Child and musical angels, by the Perugino school, is also preserved.
