The brewery is located on the site of the former
Saaz Castle. Those separated from the city by a ditch
Castle disappeared at the beginning of the 15th century.
In 1751 a barracks was built here and over the years
1797-1801 also a brewery.

The hop museum is the oldest of the three hop museums in Zatec. It is located right next to the hop and beer mat with its hop lighthouse. Another museum is about 500 meters further north
