History
The site hosted the Bavarian State Garden Show in 1998. Under the motto "SinnesWandel," the site of a former sewage treatment plant on the Ludwig Canal was extensively renovated and transformed into a diverse park landscape. Many of the gardens created at that time have been preserved and have flourished.
Today, the LGS site is a year-round leisure park offering a wide range of activities.
