Gravel riding
The railway bridge of Mauzac, also known as the Cubzac bridge, is a significant engineering feat in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of Gironde. It was built by Gustave Eiffel between 1879 and 1883 and is one of the oldest railway bridges in France. The bridge has a length of 1,545 m and a height of 553 m above the ground. The bridge is known for its innovative construction method, which allowed for the assembly of parts in the void, and was destroyed during World War II before being rebuilt by Jacques Eiffel in 1946-1947.
