Great fish rolls

Doesn't look that inviting from the outside, but it's worth it! Actually quite cozy inside and also nice outdoor spaces almost directly on the lake. Rarely eaten such a delicious fish and we had a total of four different types. Also a smokehouse and fish sale available.

The Alt Schwerin Fishery & Smokehouse, with its restaurant "Zur Forelle," is a great place to stop during a bike ride on Lake Plau. It offers fresh fish from its own farm and sustainable fishing grounds – the smoked trout and the fisherman's breakfast are particularly recommended. The restaurant is located directly on the lakeshore, and there is also a fish shop.

For cyclists touring the Mecklenburg Lake District, a stop at this location offers both culinary and scenic delights – a relaxing break with a view of Lake Plau and fresh local fish specialties.
