City of Zons is an ideal destination on the beautiful Rhine. Today it belongs to Dormagen.
Zons was first mentioned in a document in the middle of the 7th century.
In Zons there are various cultural opportunities, sights, nice shops and many places to stop for a break. Bring time to linger and enjoy the Middle Ages: The Rhine Gate, the city wall, the small alleys, customs house with chapel, castle, Krötzschenturm (formerly - weir, watchtower, prison), Juddeturm, mill, the cute pig fountain and the beautiful Rheinaue invites you for a walk.
