Mountain biking

This season, there's a strong attraction to climb to Cima Fertazza and the Belvedere refuge, which offers a 360-degree view overlooking Lake Alleghe. A large deer, sculpted (or perhaps modeled) by Cimbrian sculptor Marco Martello, aka Martelar, using wood from trees felled by Vaia, is even more appealing. The large, slender and elegant figure stands proudly near the refuge, attracting throngs of photographers eager to immortalize this new creation with selfies. Often, they fail to grasp the underlying message of this, as with other similar works of art. It's worth a closer look: it's splendid!

You can go up by cable car from Pescul in Val Fiorentina or on foot, by bike, or on horseback, even from Pécol in Val Zoldana or from Alleghe via Piani di Pezzè.
