Hiking
This small chapel, located near the Castelo de Tomar and the Convento de Cristo, is unfortunately not accessible. However, the tranquility of its surroundings and, above all, the magnificent view of Tomar reward visitors.
Construction of the hermitage began around 1541. This temple, one of the purest examples of the Renaissance style in Portugal, was originally built as a pantheon for the King of Portugal, D. João III. However, it was never completed.
