Mountain biking
Opened in summer 2025, the trail starts at 2,429 meters above sea level at the Furka Pass – one of the highest paved Alpine passes in Switzerland – and descends approximately 12 kilometers with 1,060 meters of vertical drop to Oberwald in the Goms region. The Furka Pass can be reached by post bus from Realp or Oberwald. Mountain bikers can expect a combination of alpine trails, military and forest roads, with moderately technical sections. Views of the Rohne Glacier, the Grimsel Pass, and the Goms high valley provide a diverse and photogenic backdrop. (ride)

Mountain biking
In July 2026, the trail was restored and is fully rideable from the Furkapass, first with the military road, which crosses wild places then with a splendid trail with views of the Rhône Glacier and finally with panoramas of the Rhône Valley.
