Hiking
The Heath Trail stretches between Eching, Neufahrn, Garching, and Schleißheim. It connects the nature reserves "Echinger Lohe," "Garchinger Heide," and "Mallertshofer Holz mit Heiden." Along a circular route, 20 diversely designed stations provide interesting information about the heathland, the flora and fauna of Munich's gravel plain, the rich cultural and landscape history, and the activities of the Heathland Association.
