The island harbor in front of the Baltic Sea resort of Prerow replaces the former emergency harbor Darßer Ort in the Vorpommern Lagoon Area National Park. At the head of the 720-meter-long pier, it offers space for watercraft from the sea rescue service (DGzRS), the DLRG, local commercial fishermen, a passenger ship pier and 33 emergency and stopover berths for pleasure boats.
