If you visit Pont Pitot, a small detour to the nearby cave is worthwhile. It is a quiet, shady place and offers an exciting atmosphere with impressive rock formations. Be sure to bring a flashlight, as it quickly gets dark inside. Wear sturdy shoes, as the ground can be slippery and uneven. Respect nature, leave no trash, and avoid touching stalactites or other formations. Especially on hot days, the cave is a pleasantly cool refreshment.
