The city of Nykøbing is located directly on the bridge between Lolland and Falster. It invites you to stroll with a cozy pedestrian zone. The beautiful monastery church and also the Falsters Minder Museum testify to the long history of the city. Nykøbing was awarded the market right in the 13th century, and in the 16th century city rights were granted.

The church was built in the 15th century from large monk stones. The Graubrüderkirche was in the Middle Ages' Sct. Michael and Sct. Frans' consecrated. Since 1532 she is a parish church. The most important treasures of the church are the Mecklemburg pedigree, a 33 square meter work and a painting by Lucas Cranach. In addition, the church has a carillon with 26 bells.
For me as Mecklenburg is of course the Mecklenburg pedigree very appealing.
