Just a few kilometers downhill from the summit of Coll de Rates towards Tàrbena, you’ll spot one of the most unusual roadside attractions in the region. A private garden filled with brightly painted statues—golden lions, Buddhas, bears, and other whimsical figures—sits quietly on the right side of the road.
This quirky display appears almost out of nowhere and adds a surreal splash of color to your descent. It’s a fun, unexpected photo stop that makes the ride even more memorable. Keep your eyes open—you might miss it if you’re flying downhill!
