This half-timbered house was built shortly after 1660 and probably replaces an earlier building that was badly damaged in the Lahnstraße fire in 1643.
In the 18th century, the building belonged to the court prosecutor Sachs, who organized "public winter entertainment, namely masked balls and concerts" here 😅
