Hiking

Drachenburg Castle is the Neuschwanstein of the Rhine. Located below the Drachenfels mountain, it is easily accessible by cog railway or on foot. Ample parking is available in Königswinter. Numerous events take place at Villa Drachenburg throughout the year, as was the case during our short tour.

Unfortunately, we only came to the front gates, because you have to pay for the entrance fee. But even the sight from afar is worthwhile. From here there is a beautiful hiking trail to the waterfall at the Victory.

Hiking

A truly beautiful Harry Potter castle where you can explore almost every nook and cranny, including every tower. Paying the entrance fee also allows you to escape the tourist crowds who hike up Drachenfels and enjoy a crispy waffle in the café with a stunning view and little hustle and bustle.
