Really delicious, really friendly people. Serves cake, coffee, and hot meals. Potential to become the cycling café of the north. Open every day except Wednesdays. Run by refugee women, a small place of hope in times of right-wing shift.

Café am Markt in Biesenthal is a surprise: 1) it opens on Easter!! which is a mega plus for hikers and cyclists passing through the area, 2) offered a good variety of cakes at very affordable price. I tried the Buttermilch kokos. It is an instant hit for me. Absolutely delicious. 3) very nice ambience with both indoor and outdoor seats as well as a team of different cultures giving their best services! This Café is a must if you are in the area!
