The Kumano Kodo is really long (typically 80km over 5 days). The best part is from Hosshinmon-Oji to Kumano Hongu Taisha grand shrine.
You will see a great shrine, great views, it’s not too taxing, is about 7-8km and thus only takes a few hours.
You can even visit a chic coffee shop “Sei” next to the biggest Torii gate in Japan.
