The building marks the beginning of the German Wine Route. It is located on an idyllic lake and houses a restaurant. Here you can enjoy the view of the lake on the sun terrace and fortify yourself with hearty dishes. It is open every day except Mondays.

At almost 85 kilometers in length, the holiday route leads through the second largest German wine-growing region. The German Wine Route begins at the House of the German Wine Route in Bockenheim, near Worms, and ends at the German Wine Gate in Schweigen-Rechtenbach on the border to Alsace - or vice versa.

One of our favorite places is the wine arbor next to the German Wine Route house. Local winemakers alternately serve their wines here. There are also small snacks.
