In the arboretum founded between 1928 and 1930 by Professor August Bayer, more than a thousand species of trees grow, the rarest of which is the Japanese cypress. A large part, over 200 species, are hybrids and willow cultivars. The Arboretum can be visited on Saturdays and Sundays, the basic tour takes approximately one hour.
