Hiking
Visible from the original route of the Oregon Desert Trail, Orejana Canyon cuts through the sagebrushy plateau as a deep gorge. Hiking cross-country through this canyon is an exciting (but longer) option instead of following the backcountry road. If you are lucky, you can find potholes of water in Orejana Canyon.
