This path tends to flood during the Winter/Spring months and when it rains heavily. Please take the alternative path I took in this hike to stay dry. If you have wellies on, by all means, do wade through the puddle.

The higher path was only a recent addition and it has come really handy to avoid this lower section that's often often flooded or just muddy.
It is a shame as this can be a beautiful section of the path but it's saved mud on my shoes and falling over on my bike
