The Catharine Valley Trail goes from Watkins Glen to Montour Falls and is to be further expanded in the future. The way goes on
Along Chemung Barge Canal. The Indians used to travel here between the Chemung River and Seneca Lake. The revolutionary troops destroyed the Indian villages of the Iroquois Indians. The path runs along a former railway line.
