The "Old Town Hall", where incidentally the "Ratskeller" was also located, is situated directly on the market square and was built in 1866 according to the plans of architect Doberenz in the style of historicism. In 1914, however, the city administration moved into the "New Town Hall", which is now used as a primary school.
