The Hohe Acht is NOT, as one might assume, the highest point on the Nordschleife, but only the second highest.

The highest point is after the Hohenrain chicane in the old T13 area.

The Hohe Acht passes the mountain of the same name. At 747 meters, it is the highest mountain in the Eifel region. The Hohe Acht is the second highest point on the Nordschleife after the section at the T13.
