Hiking

The famous Solkan Bridge, the world's largest masonry arched railway bridge, dominates the Soča River. This engineering masterpiece was built at the beginning of the 20th century as part of the famous Bohinj Railway (Transalpina) and still serves its purpose today. Bungee jumping is offered on the nearby road bridge in the summer. A little further downstream, this elegant pedestrian and cyclist bridge was recently built, connecting the existing cycle paths on both sides of the border.

From the bridge, you can overlook the entire canoe slalom course; especially the finish area, which is interesting during competitions. However, it is unsuitable for filming because it vibrates with every step.
