Right next to the A9 motorway near Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, a unique structure has stood since the autumn of 2024: the Poldernest lookout tower. This robust, 18-meter-high tower, made of wood and steel, has an open structure. This openness and the materials used make it a perfect fit for the expansive polder landscape of the Ronde Hoep.
