The pavilion is a popular excursion destination and resting place at the tip of the Princes' Island in Lake Plön. When the then Empress Auguste-Victoria visited her sons, the pavilion on the Princes' Island became her favorite place. Understandable, because from here you have a fantastic view of the lakes and islands.
