Dordrecht is also easy to reach by bycicle from Rotterdam. You can choose to ride the direct way, which is mostly through the city on bikepaths or you can follow the oude Maas also on bikepaths, which is by far the more scenic route, but nearly double the mileage.
Tuesday theres a market in Dubbeldam, Fryday an Saturday in the town Center. Buying fresh fish as a snack is one of my favorites. There a lot of junk and gift shops, some are quite nice if you are into that.

Dordrecht is easily accessible by car and public transport. The historic city center is at the junction of Oude Maas, Noord and Merwede.

In the Kolfstraat and Raamstraat there is a FREE guarded bicycle garage (fietsenstalling). Have the employee put a paper receipt on the bicycle and take a duplicate with you (better not lose it). Located in the center of the city, perfect base for exploring the city, boat tours with "Dordtevaar" at the fish restaurant Book “de Stroper”. More exclusive tours with SI Barone!
