From November 2010 to April 2011, the bottom sill was converted into a so-called dissolved bottom ramp, and the Kleine Isar is now accessible again for boaters and river fish.
The conversion into a bottom ramp is part of a 10-point plan to ecologically improve the Isar in the urban area of Landshut and to make the river area more diverse and more accessible for the population.
