The Malécots site is a mining and geological site, located on the Corniche Angevine in the perimeter classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It includes the Mines of Malécots 1 and 2, as well as the Tranchée des Malécots. The restoration and development since 2008 have been carried out by the Community of Loire-Layon Communes (Maine-et-Loire), assisted by the Association Ste-Barbe des Mines et Corniche Angevine.
