The Chapel Bridge in Lucerne is one of Switzerland's most famous landmarks. The historic, covered wooden bridge spans the Reuss and dates back to the 14th century. Special highlights include the historic gable paintings inside, as well as the striking octagonal water tower. After a devastating fire in 1993, the structure was lovingly restored. Today, the bridge magically attracts millions of visitors from all over the world.
