"The "Heinrichshöhe" is dedicated to an important Gelnhausen: Johann Heinrich Cassebeer (1784-1850) was a botanist, geologist, agricultural and viticultural specialist, natural scientist, mayor and pharmacist in Gelnhausen. He had sweet chestnuts planted at this point, which are now protected as monuments In 1914, the Frankfurt entrepreneur Johannes Höhner (1862-1945) had an observation tower built here, of which only the foundations have survived today."
