The teahouse is located southeast of the castle, about twenty meters from the lake shore. The building, which stands in the center of the park, is a highlight of the stately complex. In the 17th and 18th centuries, the desire for intimacy increasingly encouraged the construction of so-called pleasure houses, which are also known in France as "maisons de plaisance". These not only served as an intimate retreat for the rulers, but were also places of elite entertainment, offering space for games, music and dancing. Two exclusive apartments will be built in the teahouse.

Mountain biking
The teahouse was built around 1750 under Helmold Graf von Plessen (owner from approx. 1740) together with the orangery, the stables and modifications to the church. It was created in the baroque expansion phase of the estate.
