The Watermill Bookshop, Gallery & Cafe is a three-storey former oatmeal mill in the picturesque Highland Perthshire town of Aberfeldy.
The Watermill was opened in 2005 by Michael Palin. In 2009 we were awarded UK Independent Bookshop of the Year and in 2016, included in the New Yorker book of 75 Greatest Bookstores in the World.

Excellent non-fiction section in the bookstore.
The cafe menu is coffee and tea, cake, and light lunch. Breaking for carrot cake and coffee coming from Killin was perfect.
