The Golden Lion appeared to be a 'regulars' pub. A friendly atmosphere and a good range of beers.

Hiking
The Golden Lion sells the full range of Sam Smith beers. And if you want a pub where you can enjoy a drink and conversation this is the place to go. You aren't allowed to use a mobile phone/tablet/laptop and swearing/foul language is not tolerated. The staff are empowered to enforce the rules and are confident enough to do so. A refreshing, convivial atmosphere.
