Hiking

The Hospital of the Holy Spirit was founded around 1239 as a charitable foundation and was built in its current form after the city fire of 1516. It is the largest medieval building complex dedicated to the works of mercy within its walls. Hospital, orphanage, old people's home and even insane asylum (lunatic asylum) were just some of the functions that the hospital performed.

Today it houses the Biberach Museum, among other things.
